Tamson ASTM D892 Foaming Bath (Single)

he Tamson foaming bath can be used to test the foaming characteristics of lubrication oils conform ASTM D892. The apparatus comes with two baths that can interchangebly be operated at 24°C and 93.5°C. A rack with two flowmeters is supplied. The bath has four openings for foaming cylinders. The rack can be used to hold up to four foaming cylinders, for example between sequence II and III of the test method. Also, the stoppers and optional dryer can be mounted on this rack. The baths are equipped with a metal case for safe operation. Furthermore, the bath offers an excellent temperature stability and has a drain for easy draining. Tamson can supply all accessories needed for foaming tests according to ASTM D892.

Custom-made configurations are available on reques. Optionally, a Digital Mass Flow Meter (DMFM) can be offered.
